Yesterday I straightened and reinforced a leaning timber fence for a lovely couple.

After I had finished, the owner "That's a hell of a lot straighter that i thought you would be able to get it!"

*Note the concrete for the posts is domed above ground level to stop water sitting against the wood.

Take a little pride in your work and the results always show.

I took on a job that I don't normally do over the last couple of weeks for a lovely couple.

Landscaping around a yard including laying large pavers, concrete garden edging and creating a pebbled area.
I then spread about 5 tonnes of top soil to level out the very uneven ground.

This job was hard yakka working solo in this heat but the results look pretty good and my clients are very happy.

Being a sole trader can be extremely challenging at times.

From attempting to get back to everyone contacting me through several different platforms in a timely manner including phone calls, emails, Facebook messages etc.*, arranging a time to visit the site to measure up for quotes, processing said quotes, scheduling in works, arriving on time to complete the jobs, invoicing the completed jobs and the list goes on.

Throw on top of that personal injuries which impact my ability to facilitate all of the above and suddenly all previous plans go out the window!

Occasionally things might unintentionally fall through the cracks when I am busy, but if that happens, please try again.

As I am working solo, sometimes my hands are full and I am unable to answer the phone.

I removed the reinforcements off this wall and found massive damage to the lower wall underneath.
It needed to be returned to normal condition. I cut the damaged section out, replaced the gyprock and plastered the area.
Then a final sands and paint.
I am ecstatic with the end result.

These are the jobs that some of the bigger companies actually send to me because they prefer larger jobs.

I personally prefer these 😉

We pressure washed a carpark for a local business.
Once the mould and grime has been removed, we use a mould killer.
Unfortunately, given that we live in the tropics, it will come back eventually.

Check out the last photo for the amount of mould removed.

One of my favourite customers has had a problem with Hawks killing her budgies.
We sealed the gaps where it was getting in and cooled the little patio area while we were at it.

Not the most complicated fix but a bit time consuming.

I just pressure washed a driveway and patio area for a lovely lady to remove the mould build-up and fringe that has accumulated.

I also use a mould treatment to help keep the mould off for a bit longer.

She was very happy with the result and it is always nice when my clients are happy 😊

The difference in the photos speaks for itself.

Hello everyone, we hope you are staying safe and have not had too many issues over this past week.

As I am sure you have noticed, the slippery mould is building up very quickly on our driveways and footpaths.

I am at the tail end of my recovery post surgery and am now taking bookings for my return to work.
