A few of our recent installs showcasing the workmanship from the Eco Bay team.
We are now using battery ready inverters for at least 90% of our installs.
Careful consideration is taken into account when sizing these systems to suit your specific needs.
Average usage per day? Future works happening at the house e.g. pool? aircon? heat pump?
We look at these numbers to determine the size of the inverter and the number of solar panels required on the roof to cover these needs plus have enough left over to store in a future battery.

The years just seem to keep flying by but it's been another great year for us here at Eco Bay! Thank you to all of our customers that have put their trust in us to work with them on their solar projects. A special thanks to Ashley who has just moved house recently and let us install a second system for him at his new house. It's a huge 19.8kW PV + Battery system including 45 x 440W Canadian solar panels, a 10kW Sungrow hybrid inverter and a 19.2kWh Sungrow battery bank. We'll add a couple of pics there so you can check it out.

Happy New Year from the team at Eco Bay Electrical! We're ready for the big year ahead!

In December we recently completed a large solar system for a local Capalaba business using a 30kW Sungrow inverter with 108 x 370W Canadian panels. These manufacturers are highly regarded in the solar industry, so our client can sit back and enjoy many years of efficient solar production with peace of mind from a 10 year inverter warranty and 12 year panel warranty.

Due to the flat roof we installed a tilt system to ensure optimal panel performance and effective water drainage, to increase the longevity and output of the system.

This is a 10.36kW single phase job we installed a few months ago. We got some good pics here so you can get an idea of what goes on underneath the panels. We've started using a corrugated adapter bracket for these types of roofs as they provide a much better seal and make the installation nice and strong. These particular panels are a Canadian 370W that now come with a 25yr product and a 25yr performance warranty on residential installations in Australia. The inverter on this one was an 8.2kW Fronius Primo.

Recently installed a 19.7kw Solar system on Russell island.
Special care had to be taken on this one to ensure customer was covered for warranties this close to the coastal line.
Longi Bifacial panels were the go to for this purpose.
The Fronius inverter was a perfect choice to compliment this quality system.
As this was a 3 phase site, all power can be fully exported to the grid for a credit. To say this customer is excited to see the savings is an understatement.
It's tax time, so why not use that return to invest in solar to lower your electricity bills or even get rid of them altogether!!

15kW 3 phase SolarEdge system installed on the bay last weekend!
19.8kW's of Seraphim 330W panels with 15yr warranty.

"Out with the old in with the new"! Just completed a job for a customer at Vicy Point. There's no doubt many people in this same situation who might find this helpful. We were called out to an inverter fault and found that his panels were water damaged which was causing a fault with 2 systems he had on the property. The best solution was to install a brand new system, but we needed to be careful to keep his capacity the same so he could retain his high feed in rate. With the high feed in rates locked in until 2028, this customer has peace of mind with 15yr warranty on his panels and a full 10yr warranty on the new Sungrow Premium inverter. You'll notice the old systems in the pics with the panels laying flat, so we installed the new ones on a tilt system for improved performance.
