Just a quick message to everyone out there, recently I was called out to a property that had one of these flexible hoses under a basin burst. The bathroom was upstairs and by the time the occupants could turn off the mains water substantial damage had been caused to the majority of the downstairs living areas which included electrical, gyprock and paint. This could have been avoided by simply checking all of the flexible hoses at the property. If the hoses show signs of any wear especially rust on them I recommend that you replace these hoses as soon as possible. They can be found under basins, kitchen sinks, laundry tubs and toilet suites.
