Time for an upgrade ?

Customer lost power and wasn’t able to reset the rcd (residual-current device) in the switchboard.

Gave us a call so time to fault find !!!

Unplugged everything and still unable to reset the rcd. Found to be a faulty Lanson brand rcd which had a recall a while ago for this issue.
Swapped out for a RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Over-Current) and problem solved.

Done a full test on the circuit and everything was clear. Turned the power back on and tested each appliance individually to see what caused the fault. An air purifier was the issue and burnt out so in the bin it went.

Replacing these old plc tube fitting for new LED dot downlights. Definitely a decent upgrade on the amount of light they produce and also the energy cost saving long term.

Powering up 9 roller shutters at Megafauna Alice Springs today. Installed independent isolators for each shutter for programming.

With all the crime still happening here, it’s a necessity to get it done on your business shop front.
Too many windows are being broken and shops looted.

It’s starting to look like a fortress !!!!

Such a shame as Alice Springs is no longer the place it used to be 😢

Fingers crossed it can be turned around and the mess cleaned up.

So this is a first when you remove a power point. I still have no clue how this even happened !
No insulation in the roof space either so it’s a mystery 👽.

We all love when the client says
“I went to Bunnings and got these”
