From our base in Angle Park, South Australia, we have made it our life’s work to deliver outstanding pre-cast concrete products. We are committed to excellence, not only in our manufacturing techniques and processes but through every interaction we have with our customers. We are South-Australian owned and operated and we service all parts of metropolitan Adelaide, rural and regional areas within SA and the Northern Territory. Ri-Industries was the first South Australian company to combine the manufacture, delivery and placement of septic tanks. With engineering experience that spans over 60 years, we have developed a number of associated products to deal with sewage and waste, most notably our Ri-Treat system. Our unique design has become a leader in South Australia for the management and treatment of waste water. All of our products are ‘over-engineered’. That is how we strive for 100% excellence. Plumbers describe our products as “second-to-none” and “the best in South Australia”. We are proud of our stand-out quality of product and service. This is further backed up by our on-time deliveries, knowledgeable sales team, after sales back-up services and extended warranties.

Before a tank arrives on site, there’s a lot more involved than simply delivering it and lowering it into the ground. Site access, excavation requirements, clearance around trees and power lines, delivery logistics, crane operation, and safe placement all play a role in ensuring the installation runs smoothly.

Every property is different, which is why we offer free on-site inspections before delivery. Identifying potential challenges early helps avoid delays, improves safety and ensures everything is ready when installation day arrives.

A new report states that the Bureau of Meteorology and international agencies are forecasting a return of El Niño conditions, with a 90% likelihood before November. El Niño is typically associated with hotter, drier conditions across large parts of Australia and can increase drought risk.

While forecasts can change, reports like these are a reminder that planning for long-term water resilience is an ongoing conversation, not just something that happens when conditions become challenging.

BoM and other agencies expect transition to the first El Niño since spring 2023 sometime during winter

Most successful infrastructure projects are decided long before the crane arrives. We look at site access, ground conditions, timing, coordination, drainage, level, and more. The preparation behind the scenes is what keeps projects moving once installation begins.

What happens before installation is just as important as what happens on-site. Before precast infrastructure is delivered, there’s engineering, manufacturing, curing, quality control, logistics planning, and coordination happening behind the scenes.
Most people only see the final install, but reliability starts long before products leave the yard.

Concrete infrastructure doesn’t get installed in perfect conditions. Projects move forward through mud, rain, tight access points, shifting ground, changing schedules, and weather that doesn’t always cooperate.

That’s why durability matters long before the final install. Precast concrete infrastructure needs to handle real-world site conditions, not just ideal ones on paper. Because once the ground is closed back over, reliability becomes a whole lot more important than appearances.

Our underground concrete tanks are manufactured locally in South Australia using reinforced, high-frequency vibrated concrete designed for long-term performance where it counts most: below the surface.

Most people don’t think much about underground infrastructure once it’s installed, but site conditions, ground movement, drainage, and long-term performance all matter long after construction wraps up.

That’s why proper design, manufacturing, and installation matter from the beginning. Our precast concrete products are manufactured locally in South Australia and built to suit real project requirements, not one-size-fits-all solutions.

There’s a lot of building happening across South Australia right now. New developments, upgrades, projects kicking off everywhere. Most people see what’s going up. We focus on what’s going underneath.

That’s the part that doesn’t get much attention, but it’s what everything else relies on. Drainage, storage, structural components… if that’s not right, it shows up later.

We manufacture precast concrete products used across a range of infrastructure projects, not just tanks, but the stuff behind the scenes that keeps things working the way they should.

It’s not the visible part of a job, but it’s one of the most important.
