He’s been part of RMP Interior Linings for a couple of years now, and over the past six months - thanks to stepping up on a big project, he’s really expanded his skillset across all areas of the trade.

While there’ve been challenges for him and the team, his growth has far outweighed them. We’re lucky to have him as part of the team!

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from a fully qualified plasterer, experienced plastering labourer, or someone currently undertaking a plastering apprenticeship for a full-time position.

This position is based in Ararat and surrounding areas, working with a dynamic team of skilled tradesmen across a range of custom homes and high-end commercial projects.

Driver’s licence preferred.

Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy
- Passion for learning and continuous self/trade improvement
- Ability to show initiative
- Ability to work well within a team, take direction, and contribute input into job processes

What you’ll gain experience in:
- Residential and commercial plasterboard sheeting
- Hand and machine trowel work
- Level 5 skimming and high-end finishes
- Paper-faced and ornamental cornice work
- Tiled grid ceilings
- Concealed key-lock suspended ceilings
- Metal stud wall and ceiling framing
- Acoustic plasterboard systems
- Acoustic timber panelling
- Acoustic wall and ceiling panels
- External soffit lining

It’s about time we started putting names to the faces you’re seeing on here - 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘑𝘰𝘴𝘩 (𝘊𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴)

Josh has just gone into the third year of his apprenticeship - and the growth he’s shown over the past three months has been unreal.
He’s gone from having no framing experience to confidently building staggered stud walls, bulkheads, and suspended ceilings with ease.

He’s come a long way in the past few months, and we’re grateful to have him as part of the team!
