COVID19 Update

From midnight tonight, a six-day initial stage of ‘circuit breaker’ restrictions will be implemented to protect the South Australian community from the spread of COVID-19.

As of midnight tonight, we will be only carrying out essential electrical work.

Anyone with non essential work, we can book in a time for the near future🤞🤞

You must advised us on the phone before completing essential work if.

- you are a close contact of a known COVID-19 case
- you have recently tested positive to COVID-19 or if
- you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or
- you are in self-quarantine because you have recently returned from interstate.

We will be following SA Health COVID-19 advice by

- Wearing a face mask
- Practise good hygiene. Wash or sanitise your hands when you enter someone else’s home, if possible
- Do not shake hands, hug or kiss as a greeting
- Maintain physical distancing, keep at least 1.5 metres away from others

It's not always how it seems..

This morning we came across a burning smell while installing a generator switch at a customer's property.
Once we removed the switchboard cover it became obvious what the problem was.

We just wanted to wish a Happy 30th Birthday to Zac today. He has been an integral part of N J Brind Electrical since he started his apprenticeship back in 2013. In the past 7 years Zac has completed his apprenticeship, trained others within the business and grown the respect of customers from all over the Yorke Peninsula. His workmanship is faultless and his attention to detail has always been an asset to the business.
Zac is originally from Maitland and moved to Ardrossan to live with his partner. They have 3 children, bought a house and own The Coffee House together.

One of our customers called today about a safety switch intermittently tripping.
We made our way to site asap and began fault finding.
After extensive testing we narrowed it down to a powerpoint that had moisture from salt damp in it.

Dear customers,
The team at N. J. Brind Electrical & Solar are taking the appropriate measures to keep our customers and ourselves protected from this virus. As of Monday 30th March, in line with government recommendations we will be minimising our services to customers over the age of 65 for emergency jobs only. This will be assessed on a job by job basis.
