At H&E CIVIL CONTRACTORS, we believe every young person deserves an opportunity.
Not everyone learns in a classroom, and sometimes all it takes is a chance, a mentor, and a positive environment to help someone find their path.
That's why we're opening our workshop doors and offering Youth Development Days for young people of all ages who want to learn practical skills, gain confidence, make new connections, and spend their time doing something positive and productive.
Our program provides hands-on exposure to:
✅ Welding and fabrication
✅ Sand blasting and painting
✅ Auto electrical and mechanical work
✅ Machinery operations and maintenance
✅ Basic workshop skills
✅ Civil construction and field work
✅ Tool and equipment use
✅ Teamwork and communication
✅ Workplace responsibilities
✅ And much more
Most importantly, we are passionate about safety. Every participant will learn what it takes to work safely, identify hazards, wear the correct PPE, follow procedures, and understand the importance of going to work and coming home safely every single day.
This isn't about creating tradespeople overnight. It's about building confidence, teaching life skills, developing work ethic, and showing young people that there are opportunities available to them regardless of their background or circumstances.

No experience required. Just bring a good attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to safety and respect.
