JDV has recently executed a complex fire services upgrade at an operational industrial estate in Condell Park.
The $4.5 million project encompasses 13 individual units occupied by eight active tenants, each with distinct operational needs and sensitivities.
A major component of the upgrade involves installing a new 500,000-litre galvanised steel water tank, which stands 8.6 metres tall. The tank sits on a purpose-built concrete slab that was poured to a precision tolerance of ±3 mm. Its placement and installation require detailed coordination of inlets, outlets, and structural junctions, necessitating close collaboration between the concreter, plumber, and fire contractor.
Through ongoing project delivery, JDV has developed robust working relationships with both tenants and the property manager on-site. The team's proactive and responsive methodology has resulted in JDV securing additional scopes of work, including tenancy improvements, upgrades, and a comprehensive café refurbishment.
The café renovation encompassed bi-fold door replacement, custom joinery installation, tiling works, timber slat ceiling construction, and stencil concrete finishes.
