Back in January 2018, PCA Ground Engineering delivered a bespoke micropile foundation solution for ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ฒ๐ถ๐ช๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ at Sydneyโs iconic Circular Quay.
Faced with tight site constraints and complex loading demands, we used self-drilling hollow bar micropiles installed at raked angles - an innovative alternative to conventional bored piles.
Specialist limited-access rigs made it all possible, right on the edge of Sydney Harbour.
A great outcome for all stakeholders, and not a bad view for our site crew either!
