"Why does my lemon tree have yellow leaves?" The reason in most cases is lack of nutrients.

Like other citrus trees, lemons are always super hungry. Yellow leaves can be a sign of a deficiency in key nutrients like nitrogen and iron. Feeding a lemon tree regularly with a citrus fertiliser can help supply the right blend of nutrients it needs and re-green the leaves. Liquid fertilisers are ideal, as they contain fast acting nutrients.

So, the plan to fix your yellow lemon tree is mixing 1-2 capfuls of Yates Thrive Natural Citrus & Fruit Liquid Plant Food in a 9L watering can and applying that around the root zone each week. Over the coming months you'll notice the leaves becoming greener and you'll also help promote a lovely flush of fresh new leaves and white fragrant flowers. Future lemons!

A job opportunity exists in Atherton for a full time Landscape Maintenance Operator (casual rates - above award plus super for suitably qualified). What we are specifically looking for, is a person who resides in or in close proximity to Atherton, has a good attitude to working outdoors in all conditions, is physically fit and able to perform all duties including some physically demanding duties such as mulching. Duties are mostly lawn mowing (both push and ride on) and whipper snipping. Hours are generally 7.30am - 3.30pm with half hour unpaid lunch and two paid am/pm breaks. Modern air conditioned utes and all equipment supplied. Mechanical knowledge advantageous.
