THE ROLE:

Transport and Logistics Forklift Operator

We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to work in a transport and logistics role. Operating in a large yard, you will be loading, unloading. moving, stacking and transporting concrete products and materials. You need to be able to plan, coordinate and direct movement of materials in a timely manner and be able to prioritise your workloads ensuring you are working efficiently and effectively. Being a strong team player is essential as you will also be required to collaborate with other team members.

• Experienced Forklift Operations

• Loading and Unloading products onto vehicles and trailers

• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility Legislation

• Safely securing and restraining all loads

• Reliable with a dedicated work ethic.

• Guaranteeing freight is loaded in a timely manner to meet all logistic schedules.

• Experience in preparation of outgoing freight

REQUIREMENTS:

• HRWL (Forklift) - Essential

• Construction White Card

• Demonstrated and Proven Experience as Forklift Operator

• Ability to take direction from management and supervisors

• Physical ability to complete tasks associated with Labouring work

• Proven ability to work autonomously with initiative and follow procedures and instructions.

• Australian Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle.
