Firstly as always I want to say a huge thank you to our incredible community and the ongoing support both myself and my wife from Mali Joel Hair Studio consistently receive. We couldn’t do what we do without your support.

As expected with the current cost of living continually growing, the time has unfortunately come that after 18 months of no price increases, I do unfortunately need to come up to speed (but still slightly cheaper) than market rates for the work I do.

New pricing will be in effect as of April 1st 2026 and will be charged at $110+gst call-out fee and $110+gst per hour (charged in 15min increments) plus parts. The cost of parts from all suppliers is also going up (some suppliers increasing as much as 50%) however I will do my best to continually strive for the best prices I can get for my clients to ensure my local community mentality remains in check.

I hope you are all enjoying this slight bit of cooler weather as much as me and that everyone’s lawns and gardens are looking amazing!

Hey guys, so sorry I didn’t leave a post earlier, I thought the rush was on the downhill slide but seems I’m incorrect.

I am currently taking a quick week long family holiday to Bali (yes the beers are amazingly cold and the tattoo is already booked) but I will get back to you all as soon as I can when I return on Tuesday.

If I haven’t already booked you in or you are waiting to hear back, I have made some times for you and will also message to confirm with you on my return.

Day 2 of having our Retic systems back on and I have already had numerous bookings made.

Due to the rising costs of living my prices have slightly increased again (still cheaper than most in market) and will now be $90+gst call-out and $90+gst per hour plus parts.

Please reach out if you want to know anything at all and I’d be happy to discuss what could be happening and try provide an estimated cost before we schedule a booking.

1 week to go and It’s almost over……. Winter that is.

This means it’s almost time to switch our Retic systems back on.

Don’t be caught out on the first hot day going to put your Retic on and it not working….. make sure to reach out before our bookings are taken and get your system checked over and serviced ready for the new season.

It’s very important to take advantage of the growth season between October and November (before things get too hot) so we can have your lawn looking $1M ready for Christmas Day which is in 123 days btw.

Don’t forget that the WA Sprinkler Ban comes into affect today. (1st June to 1st September)

This means it’s time to go out to your Retic controller and switch it off, but not only that, it is also the best time to replace the 9v battery which will help retain the programming memory just in case we encounter some horrible storms that trip our power this winter.

Adams Retic is also still running through winter, so if you have had any plans to add some new Retic here and there, redo your entire system or even get started on a completely new install from scratch, now is the time to do this to avoid lawns dying whilst it’s off and to also beat the mad rush through summer time.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

The Water Corporation has advised that although they have reached the allocated 1500 rebate applications for weather based controllers (Wifi) they WILL keep the applications open until the 31st May!

If you have been considering a wifi controller, please reach out ASAP to discuss getting you booked in for replacement.
