This was a tidy little renovation we handed over recently for our clients Michael & Rose of Wahroonga.

These guys had this family pool built in the early 1990s and everything was in pretty good order - but it was clearly time for a cosmetic overhaul.
The pool was accompanied by a smaller wading pool which was ideal for the kids in the early days, however no longer needed - so we filled this in to increase the pool area footprint.

Complete strip of existing pebblecrete pool interior + existing paving surrounding pool // New concrete pool area paving slabs // Delete old wading pool // New paving throughout using “Calais” limestone from Barefoot Living - including a very detailed coping with a custom-cut + pencil-round edge finished internal edge // Fully tiled pool interior using the stunning “Pearl” mosaics from Barefoot Living // new Aquaquip Evo Max colour changing LED Pool Lights + new transformer + Insta touch remote control // new main drain + skimmer box lid from Aquea products // Complete plumbing overhaul with new pipe from shell back to equipment location + the addition of an overflow pipe // Stainless steel fittings within pool from Flolux.

Balgowlah Heights 💦

This was our first renovation for 2026 for the lovely McLean family of Balgowlah Heights.

A large front yard pool which was in pretty good overall condition, but needed its worn out original finishes replaced to better match the recently renovated house.

This pool was incredibly deep with around 3m depth in the deep and and a shallow end at 1.6m. Our main objective was to significantly reduce the depth by concreting a new floor into the existing pool to improve the pool’s useability. We also concreted a full length seating bench along the pool’s long side to provide an area to sit and relax whilst in the pool.

Silver travertine paving with a custom cut and pencil-round edge finished coping // Aquea V-Lock skimmer box lid // Fully tiled pool interior using Barefoot Living “Free Dive” mosaics // New Aquaquip EvoMax colour changing pool lights + Insta touch remote controller.

Snuck this small scale renovation into the job mix recenty for a lovely client up at Palm Beach.

The pools old NZ white pebble had seen better days and there was extensive rust throughout the interior.

This is one we handed over back in October last year for the Munton family of Bayview - this was the second time they’d engaged us for work, having renovated a pool for them at their previous property back in 2014.

This was a job that we are super proud of - 3 months of work completely transforming this swimming pool and its surrounding area - resulting in a classy, private retreat for this family to relax in and entertain.

Handed over this beautiful pool + surrounds renovation to the Lothian family of Turramurra back in November last year.

The backyard pool was built in the early 1970s and featured a brick coping with ceramic waterline tiles and a pebblecrete interior - all in reasonable condition but definitely in need of cosmetic change.
The other big reason these guys were renovating the pool was to provide their grandkids with somewhere to play and wade in shallow water - so we designed and built a large beach ledge on the pool’s shallow end with full width pool entry steps below the ledge.

Handed over this very tasteful little renovation this morning for our beautiful client Janice in St Ives.

The existing pool was built in the early 1970s and had been renovated once previously.
The old brown bricks on the pools coping and surrounds were looking a bit outdated, the pools Quartzon interior was badly deteriorating, and the filter equipment was a mixed bag of very old and old gear that was all in need of replacement.

We pulled up all the paving bricks, stripped the pools interior back to concrete shell and commenced the renovation.

We completed this tidy little renovation in Cromer earlier this year - with a super impressive before and after result for our clients!

This front-yard pool was screaming for a full renovation with all of its finishes being badly deteriorated and outdated.

A complete strip of the pebblecrete walkways and double layer pool interior provided us with a blank concrete canvas ready to renovate.

Handed this one over a month or so back for the Cook family in Cromer.
The pool had been renovated 15 years prior but the whole thing was badly deteriorated and in need of another revamp.

We stripped all the paving on the coping + surrounds, completely stripped the existing interior layers (quartzon over marblesheen), and cut out the shallow end swimout - creating a perfect blank canvas to renovate.

One of the main objectives with this renovation was to delete the shallow end swimout and create a straight coping along the house side of the pool with nice large pool entry steps.

This is one we handed over back in April for a young family in Castle Cove.

This was a well built & very large 1970s pool which hadn’t been renovated for 20 or so years.

Our clients wanted to modernise the pool with contemporary materials, and also achieve a more practical layout within the pool with an area to sit and watch over their young kids whilst swimming.

This was a special renovation we wrapped up in November last year for a lovely family up the top of Cromer - on a property boasting scenic views of bushland and the beautiful Narrabeen Lake.

The pool was 1990s built and in desperate need of renovation . The pool had all your typical faults - with rust across the floor and walls, and with most of the walls being concreted out of square with one another making for a challenging renovation trying to correct things.

Working off our clients clever design we concreted a large shallow end wading ledge with a built in umbrella holder - making an ideal zone for kids and big kids alike to get wet & seek shelter from the sun.

The ledge was fully tiled and the pools waterline tiled using Vidrepur “Nature Air Force” mosaics + epoxy grouted using Laticrete Specktralock Pro grout.

To make things look good after dark - we installed Aquaquip EvoMax and LV series colour changing pool lights + Insta Touch remote controller.

The pools coping was paved using Grey Apricot marble and the front edge finished with a smooth pencil-round edge finish.

Beadcrete interior in colour “Oahu” from the Crystal Range made for a perfect match with the chosen pavers and mosaics and a super smooth experience under foot.

Poolside hardwood decking + garden beds + black alloy fencing complete this tasteful reno.
