What a great weekend that was! It was certainly the most relaxing and productive (not sure those two words belong in the same sentence together but hey-ho, I'm throwing good literary conventions into the wind it seems! 😝 ) one I've had in quite a while. I managed to clock up 1,500+ stitches across five different projects and watch countless hours of Flosstube while wallowing in all that stitchy goodness! And this year, I'm actually ahead of the game and have my fabric dyed and ready to go for the new Lola Crow 'Museum After Midnight' SAL kicking off later this month. 💪🙌

So... how was your Easter weekend?

After launching the Terra Australis collection of Project Bags just ahead of Christmas, I decided I needed to make some for myself. I had planned some new starts for this year and couldn't resist these gorgeous fabrics! 🫶 I whipped up one large and two medium-sized vinyl-front bags but I'm yet to create the beaded zipper pulls for them...'cause I'm a bit slack like that. 🙃😉

As you can see, I'm also a bit slack when it comes to removing projects from the q-snaps. I don't get a lot of stitchy time in my week so I tend to leave them in the frame so they're ready to go when I have the chance to get my stitch on. 😁 Anyone else do that?

So, in case you are wondering about their capacity, the medium-sized bags easily hold an 8"x8" frame while the large bag comfortably houses an 11"x11" q-snap. Of course there's also plenty of room to store the pattern and a ring full of floss too. 😍

I hope you all had a wonderful festive season, received lots of stitchy goodies 🧶🧵and spent some time crafting the day away when you had a chance 🪡. I managed to down tools for a while and have a bit of a break but it's back to the daily grind now and racing against the clock to do all the things. ⏰ Ahh, such is life, but at least we can always dream about and make lots of stitchy plans right?! 😉
