Design is never one-size-fits-all — it starts with understanding how someone really lives in their space. Before layouts, finishes, or details, we listen: how they move through their home, how they host, and how they want to feel every day.

For this client, entertaining is part of their lifestyle, not just something they do occasionally. Creating an easy connection between indoors and out was a big priority. These bifold doors became more than a feature — they’re what allow the home to open up effortlessly, extending the living space and bringing the outside into every gathering.

The result is a space that doesn’t just look beautiful — it works beautifully too, adapting to real life and the way they actually live. Because the best design isn’t about trends… it’s about people.

By using bold contrasting claddings and dynamic façade angles, this project turns tricky property boundaries into an advantage — carving out every usable square foot without compromising aesthetics. Constraint-driven design, but make it articulated.

One of our favourite before-and-afters!

An extension paired with major renovations completely transformed this home. By utilising under-house storage, we added valuable extra rooms, created light-filled living spaces, and delivered an open, practical layout that truly works for everyday life.

What are we loving about this design? Every space feels larger and more luxurious (we promise — just wait for the finished photos). While the kids are older and having their own level is a huge win in their eyes, the revised stair location keeps the bedrooms connected and easily accessible from the main living level — a smart move from a resale perspective. And lastly, that open-plan living area: warm, inviting, flooded with natural light, and perfectly designed to fit everyone at Christmas. The outlook from this space is absolute goals.

Ben is an absolute whiz when it comes to regs and standards. He knows the NCC inside out — and somehow likes construction detailing the most.

Mel is the admin legend who keeps the whole office humming along effortlessly and is the friendly voice greeting you on the phone.

Tim is our happy-go-lucky design gun, bringing creativity, good vibes, and a smile to everything he works on.

Alyson is the boss lady behind it all after taking over from her mum a few years ago now — leading the team with confidence, experience, and just the right amount of authority to keep us all in line. 😂
