📢 Funding support for eligible EGT Host Employers
The WA Government has announced a $19.6 million extension to the Group Training Organisation (GTO) Wage Subsidy Program, supporting an additional 330 apprentice and trainee placements over the next four years.
The program is designed to assist eligible small to medium enterprises working on a commercial clean energy project within the building and construction sector, a government building and construction project, or a non-government residential construction project, by providing access to apprentices and trainees employed through Group Training Organisations.
The funding includes:
✔ 205 places subsidised at 50% (over 67k per apprentice)
✔ 75 places subsidised at 75% (over 100k per apprentice)
✔ 50 places for women commencing electrical apprenticeships, subsidised at 75% (over 100k per apprentice)
If you're considering taking on an apprentice, EGT can help you navigate the available funding opportunities and identify the best option for your business.
