We are a renowned asbestos removal company servicing the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Townsville, and Hervey Bay and surrounding areas; We are currently seeking a proactive and highly organised Asbestos Removal Supervisor to join our dedicated Hervey Bay team. This role is ideal for motivated professionals looking to advance their career with opportunities for further training and development.

About the Role
This is a key role, responsible for overseeing and leading our asbestos removal projects across the Greater Queensland region. The ideal candidate will have, a strong background in Asbestos removal and remediation, a commitment to safety, and the ability to effectively manage a small team of removalists. Furthermore, a percentage of our work involves make-safe and assessment work, like sampling. As such, we are looking for candidates who are presentable, computer-literate, and with good English skills in order to write up reports.
For the appropriate suitable candidates, we offer full training up to the assessor level.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and oversee asbestos removal projects from planning through to completion
• Lead and mentor a team of removalists and technicians
• Ensure strict compliance with WHS, EPA, and asbestos removal regulations
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and safety standards on every project
• Conduct site assessments and sampling when required
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation via ServiceM8
• Oversee the proper use and maintenance of equipment

Skills & Experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in asbestos removal (at least 1 year in a supervisory role)
• Valid A-Class Asbestos Removal Supervisor Licence
• Sound knowledge of asbestos handling and safety regulations
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Competent using tablets/phones for report writing and data capture
• Fluent in English with excellent grammar and communication skills
• Physically fit and able to work in varied environments
• Willingness to submit to drug screening
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Willingness to travel throughout Queensland as required
