New design for a contemporary modernist residence located in Invermay. Composed of independent pavilion like pods connected by glass linkways while anchored by a central living space that opens toward expansive views and a generous outdoor entertaining terrace with an integrated pool structure. Designed as a floating glass box structure the home is wrapped in extensive glazing that captures and frames the surrounding vegetation and natural landscape while drawing inspiration from some of the purest expressions of modernist architecture.

This Lake Wendouree project was completed a few years ago, and we continue to admire it. The existing brick home was removed to make way for a new modest mid-century design that brings a calming presence to a character filled site. A key feature was retaining the original stone wall and refreshing the landscaping while introducing generous glazing interfaces to seamlessly connect the living spaces to the sun soaked northern courtyard.
