Back in the lab today disecting flowers from proteaceae, asteraceae and rosaceae families. Aside from anatomical id, the beauty of flower parts including pollen grains is fascinating. Missed my lab partner today .

Palm Tree Circuit in the lush tropical forest of the Tewantin National Park today. The warm breeze heavy with the familiar aromas of eucalypt nectar and musical swarks of nectar feeding honeyeaters overhead. Filtered light shining through the fan like leaves of the gorgeous palms. 🌴

Endlessly distracted by the beauty of radiant colours, exquisite textures and microscopic creatures making their way across the slide.
