Hey!👋Check out these photos from our recent fox-proofing project in Clarendon for a local chicken farmer. 🐣🐓😁👀 🦊

✅ For the main fencing solution, we used a 1800mm StockSafe prefabricated mesh with a 300mm curtain along the bottom to prevent digging. Plus, we added a line of electric fencing wire along the top.

✅ We installed 1800mm metal swing gates (too high for a fox to jump over), beneath which we buried 150mm hardwood post barriers (with another 300mm curtain attached).

✅This design stops foxes from squeezing under the gate or digging their way through.

Now that’ll protect these birds from becoming a fox’s dinner!👍

Now that’s some heavy sheep research (1000+ kg!), now back on Australian soil. An amazing glimpse into yesterday’s science that has shaped today’s Merino wool industry. 🔬🐏🧶🐑🧬
