Here is another recently completed job from The Beard Bespoke Carpentry.

A client had are large space that had been used as a formal lounge by the previous owners that they wanted converted into a spare bedroom and office.

I achieved this by installing some wardrobes with shaker style doors, a new door and frame to match existing and cornice to it all togeather. A simple but effective way to partition a room. The client was organising the decoration.

Here is our latest project.

Its a floating entertainment unit with a solid American white oak benchtop. The T.V is mounted to a laminex backboard that is back lit, along with the underside of the unit with L.E.D strip lighting.

Looking for somewhere to store all your first editions, original set of encyclopedia Britannicas or just somewhere to retire after the evening meal for whiskey and ci**rs - a custom built library may be what you're after.

Here at The Beard we are well known for our shaker style wardrobes in character homes, but here is a more modern design.
This was built for a teenagers room so plenty of hanging space and drawers. I included an integrated desk, book case and lighting with the added bonus of built in usb charger.

Here is a cupboard that I recently built for a client
While you can get something similar from Ikea or office works this storage unit was made to a specific height to fit under the bulk head and an extra 100mm deeper then a standard unit,also in a specific colour to match existing furniture.

Here is a project I recently competed in a former commercial premises converted into a family home.
The washing machine was in an awkward place under the stairs so I designed a unit on wheels with a drawer underneath. This allows the client to easily access taps and switches plus provides additional storage.

The new laundry also has a pull out cabinet perfect for detergents and at the back is a cabinet with a bi-fold door so it can be opened with out disturbing anything on the bench top.
We installed a panel with a door attached just to fill in the last bit of space and give a little more storage.

A recently completed wardrobe project in a character home.

I modified the mantlepiece to create a more functional space for the wardrobes.

Using 2 large soft close Blum legrabox drawers below, one wardrobe features half shelving with double hanging and the other just single hanging.
