MSP Electrical provides electrical switchboards to Perth’s commercial and industrial sector as well as across regional WA.
Our dedicated team has over 25 years’ experience in the design and manufacture of electrical switchboards in WA. This wealth of experience, combined with our dedication to customer service and a ‘can do’ attitude ensures our clients receive quality products that are built to the highest standards.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙤𝙡𝙚
MSP are looking to hire a motivated sheet metal apprentice to work fulltime Monday – Friday, joining our sheet metal and electrical teams in our Malaga workshop.

Throughout your apprenticeship you will learn the sheet metal trade, covering how to weld and operate machinery including a laser, turret punch and press brake.

𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚
• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of electrical switchboards and enclosures.
• Learn and apply welding techniques, including mig and tig welding, working with aluminium, mild and stainless steel.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate construction.
• Operate and maintain workshop machinery and tools.
• Support senior sheet metal fabricators in various tasks and projects.
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in training sessions and practical learning experiences.

• Current drivers licence.
• Working rights in Australia.
• No experience necessary, we will provide on the job training.
• A keen interest in metalwork and fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
