🎥 Project Spotlight — St Joseph’s College, Ferntree Gully 🎥

This project included the design and construction of the secondary entrance, internal student waiting area, and surrounding landscaped gardens — all carefully aligned with the existing campus design language established by Aspect Studios in collaboration with Cox Architecture and the College.

Plans are unfolding, trucks are on the move, and excavators are hard at work as the Tan Track transformation gets underway.

The upgraded rubberized sports track surface will provide improved shock absorption, better running conditions, and a high-quality finish built for performance, durability, and comfort. 🌟

Tim and the PTA Landscapes team are hard at work upgrading the Monash University Tan Track 🏃‍♂️🌿🎥

Watch the transformation as the existing granitic gravel surface is replaced with a new rubberized sports track designed for improved performance, durability, and comfort for runners and walkers alike.

The upgrade includes updated track levels with a cross fall for effective drainage, spoon drains to collect runoff and transfer it into the drainage system, plus an asphalt base and engineered sub-grade to support the new surface.

Excited to see this project come to life and deliver a high-performance track for the Monash community!

Today we visited Justin and the PTA Landscapes Garden Care Team for a full day at a 20-acre property in the hills 🌿✨

From mowing, edging and blowing to fertilising, broadleaf spraying, trimming and hedging, the team carried out detailed maintenance across the entire site to keep the property looking its absolute best. Every section of the landscape was carefully maintained to ensure a clean, healthy and well-presented finish.

Take a look at the Melton South Recreation Reserve play space upgrade through the eyes of our client!

PTA Landscapes were engaged by St Joseph’s College to design and construct a new secondary entrance, including an internal student waiting area and surrounding garden spaces.

Working closely with Cox Architecture and the school, the design continues the material palette from the main entrance to ensure a cohesive and unified campus identity.

A functional arrival space has been created, incorporating a defined student waiting area and landscaped gardens to improve comfort, circulation, and overall presentation of the school entry.

The result is a considered, durable, and low-maintenance upgrade that enhances both daily student experience and the broader streetscape.
