This morning was a little different for us at Southern Drone Solutions. We visited Lucindale Area School to talk to student’s about the use of drones in agriculture and the different types of work we have been doing. It was great seeing students keen to learn about the future of agriculture. Thank you Lucindale Area School for having us.

Swampy ground? No worries. 🌧️

Things have been pretty busy at Southern Drone Solutions lately. It’s the perfect time of year to be spraying those swampy areas. Drone spraying lets us treat the hard-to-reach areas without bogging machinery or damaging the paddock.

Fertiliser @ 215kg/ha was no problem at all for our drones. Providing efficient and accurate application over this maize crop with 3 tonne being spread easily in just a couple hours. Give us a call for any spreading or spraying jobs you may have.

Recently our drones were busy spreading fertiliser to keep Penola Racecourse turf in top condition ready for the next meeting.
Fast application, even coverage, and zero damage to the ground.

Then and Now
What a difference a year makes. In January 2025 this paddock was sprayed for Spiny Rush and now you can see Spiny Rush is no longer in this paddock. This shows how beneficial drones are to help renovate areas that are usually to difficult to renovate because they are to difficult to get ground units on.
