Scenic Rim Retaining Wall Builders Concrete sleeper retaining walls, up to 1 m retained. Knock down and rebuild across the Scenic Rim. Knock down and rebuild is most of our work.

Scenic Rim Retaining Wall Builders build concrete sleeper retaining walls, up to 1 m retained, across the Scenic Rim, Logan, Ipswich and the Gold Coast. The old wall comes out and goes to the tip, and a new concrete sleeper wall goes in on galvanised posts set in 32 MPa concrete, with geofabric, an ag line and drainage gravel behind it. We use the right auger for the job: 450 mm on some walls, 300 mm on others. Jake quotes every job and builds every wall. Fencing is coordinated with a trusted local partner. Here's how the wall from our last few posts went together. First the old timber wall came out, then the trench went in along the new line and the pier holes were dug. Galvanised posts were concreted in with the ag line along the base, and geofabric and drainage gravel went in behind the sleepers before the backfill.

Most of a wall goes in before the first sleeper does.

The trench gets dug along the new line. We use the right auger for the job, 450 mm on some walls and 300 mm on others. Galvanised posts go into the holes and get set in 32 MPa plant-batched concrete, and the ag line goes in along the base. Then the sleepers start.

Jake finished this one at the start of October. The old timber wall at the back of the house came out, and a new concrete sleeper wall went in on galvanised posts, wrapping around the corner of the outdoor area.

The old wall comes out and goes to the tip. Then it's new piers, new galvanised posts, new drainage behind and new sleepers, start to finish. Jake builds every wall himself.
