Make sure you are using a licensed plumber! Do it cheap pay twice. Unfortunately this client found out the hard way as she had left the builder to take care of the renovations and they had left leaking pipes in the wall. Luckily I was able to remove the fittings which do not comply with plumbing standards inside walls. As they had been so poorly installed they pulled straight off the pipe so I was able to solder onto it and do it right, pressure test the system and confirm no further leaks without breaking off the newly installed tiles inside.

Do you have a storage hot water system?
Changing the anode could double the life of your unit.
The anode on the right was only 4 years old and badly corroded, the corrosive elements in our water then attack the tank eventually causing it to burst meaning a new hot water system has to be installed which can be very costly.

Are you walls showing signs of water damage? Arrange for a pressure test of your pipework today, there may be a leak behind your tiles that could be causing a lot of damage to the surrounding walls like in the photo on the right, the longer the leak is left, the worse the damage and mould becomes.

Have you checked your flexible hoses lately?

Wipes and drains do not play well together!! Even wipes that claim to be 'flushable' do not break down in the drain like paper does and can cause a blockage in no time.
Luckily these were able to be removed and the drain flowing freely.
