A good foreman leads from the front, not from a clipboard, not by guessing, and definitely not by talking down to the lads who actually build the job.

Bricklayers don’t mind being told what needs doing, what they won’t take is being spoken to like they’re daft. Truth is, some days the wall’s straight but your head isn’t that’s not weakness, that’s life on the tools.

Grab a brew, have a chat. Respect goes both ways, and the best sites run on teamwork, old heads, young heads, everyone pulling the same way.

To be considered, applicants must possess a strong work ethic, be willing to learn and hold a valid driving licence. Potential opportunities exist to progress into an apprenticeship role later on.
