A Legend Moves On: Celebrating 19 Years of Dedication with Tom 🛠️
Last Friday at RACE Services, we farewelled a company legend, Tom, who has officially wrapped up an incredible 19-year journey with us.
Tom, it’s been an absolute pleasure having you as part of the team for nearly two decades. You came to us all those years ago as a fully qualified plumber and have been a hardworking, dedicated, and all-round brilliant team member ever since. We are so incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved and the expertise you've shared with us over the years.
Your commitment to the job, your technical skill, and the energy you brought to the crew each day never went unnoticed. You have been a pillar of our team and a mentor to so many of our guys.
While work is important, so are the friendships we build along the way. After 19 years in the RACE uniform, you’ve made friends for life here, and your absence will definitely be felt on site.
Thank you for your loyalty, your hard work, and for being such a vital part of our growth. We wish you all the very best in this next chapter!

From Apprentice to Engineer: Celebrating 16.5 Years of Excellence ⚡️

Today at RACE Services we bid farewell to a true company legend, Brayden Mooney.

Brayden’s journey with us is the ultimate success story. He joined the team over 16 years ago as a fresh-faced Apprentice Electrician. Through hard work and talent, he earned his A-Grade qualification, and eventually transitioned into his current role as a specialist BMS Engineer.

Brayden has been a pillar of our technical team and a mentor to many. While we are sad to see him go, we are incredibly proud of everything he has achieved during his time in the RACE uniform.

Brayden, thank you for your loyalty, your expertise, and for being such a vital part of our growth. We wish you the very best in your next chapter!

What a year! 2025 has been a big and successful year for RACE Services.

We welcomed new staff and said goodbye to some long standing ones who are now enjoying retirement, we welcomed new clients, took on some of the biggest jobs we have done, were State Winners in the NECA Excellence Awards-Industrial Small category and National Finalists, finalists in the Be.Bendigo Business Excellence Awards, we had a change of ownership and our staff continue to show why they are the best at what they do.

Thank you to our staff for their continuous commitment to delivering a quality service to our clients and for being a great team of people to work with. Thank you to our clients for your continued trust and support. Thank you to our subcontractors who deliver services on our behalf and understand what it means to work with us and extend that quality of service delivery to our clients and, thank you to our suppliers who continue to get their hands on parts for us in a timely manner.

Tuesday some of our members attended the NECA Industry Night in Bendigo. Industry Nights are an opportunity to keep up to date with changes within industry, see new equipment and hear what the state and national body (NECA) are doing for their members

Representatives from NECA presented on;
☑ updates regarding apprenticeship supervision and psychosocial health
☑ Future Energy Skills project update

Rapid-Tech Equipment was also in attendance with a tool display featuring Fluke, Kyoritsu, Flir, Megger and Hikmicro
