You’re never too old to learn, right?
Today I learned that concrete blades aren’t all the same. After the stock husqi blade lasting 6 linear metres of cut, I went to and they hooked me up with something much better!
Half the slab cut into squares ready for loadout tomorrow with Hungry the grab. Super impressed with the lift power of the Budgie, too. That’s a 1.5m square of slab there!

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s just another awesome pool install by Built Right Pools!
Recently completed pool excavation down in Ormeau for our friends from Built Right. With both machines & truck running flat stick we managed to remove about 50m3 from site.
Great effort by all involved, and the pool looks amazing too! Gonna be a great spot this summer!

Today marks the end of my time working onsite under the direction of these 3 legends.
In my 4 days on site, I’ve witnessed an incredible transformation of a lovely property in Ipswich, Qld. and I honestly don’t believe such a dramatic turnaround would be possible without these 3 experts in their industries & the amazing team that work behind the scenes! Super impressive stuff.

So plenty of you guys already know, but I’d like to formally announce Gingex- Limited Access Earthworks.
This change in our business marks the end of us taking on any landscape construction projects, as our sole focus going forward is digging holes & kicking goals!

Today we flew a little bit lighter & left the Budgie at home to head down to Merrimac and clean up after the installation of a fibreglass in-ground pool.

Round & Round we go! Retaining wall cut & drilling again today, this time in Greenbank for our mate’s from Will’s Fencing.
The combination of EZ17 mini excavator and Digga auger drive & augers, is just unreal! I could definitely use a Halo retrofit in the future tho… 🟢🔴

Earlier this week I was a little bit naughty…
I lifted some concrete sleepers & cheated a little by just using a soft sling on the tongue of my hitch, and I was called out by a bunch of you legends which was great. Thank you!
So the other day the I decided to get on top of things properly & get myself a proper rated lifting hook for all crane operations going forward.
Here’s a few pics of me shifting 10 panels of colorbond fencing & 2 gate frames, plus of course a pic of me being naughty…
