Rough paddock? No worries.
Drone broadcast seeding - fast, efficient, and perfect for rough country.

We used the drone to spread Blackbutt oats at 100 kg per hectare, followed shortly after with a fertiliser application to help get things established.

This paddock is extremely rough and full of rock, which makes it hard on tractors and seeders. Using the drone means we can still get the seed out evenly without machinery getting knocked around.

DJI Agras T50 doing exactly what it was built for.
Agile, powerful, and ridiculously capable in terrain that’s otherwise a hard no.

This particular block was extremely steep and inaccessible, with our setup positioned on the other side of the river. Traditional chemical application here would be difficult, risky, and inefficient — if not impossible.

Using drone tech meant:
• Precise access to steep, unreachable terrain
• Targeted spraying without disturbing surrounding land
• Safer conditions for operators
• Smarter w**d control outcomes

Before spraying, the team mapped all native species, ensuring they were protected. The focus here was on blackberry, briar, and boxthorn — accurate, controlled, and environmentally conscious application.

This is a great example of how technology + good planning = better land management outcomes, even in the toughest country.

• Machine experience (Skid Steer, Excavator, Tractor, Mulcher)
• Forestry Fire Fighter tickets (FCNSW/AFDRS/PUA qualifications)
• Chemical certification (ChemCert)
• White Card
• Truck Licence (MR/HR or above)
• Experience in forestry, fencing, land management, or rural contracting

About the Role:
• Fencing and tree planting work
• Approximately 3 months of employment, with potential for ongoing work if you prove to be a valuable team member
• Based in Bombala, with worksites across the Snowy Monaro Region
• Immediate start available

What We’re Looking For:
• Reliable, hardworking individuals with a positive attitude
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Experience in fencing or planting is preferred but not essential — training can be provided
• Physically fit and prepared for hard manual labour in a fast-paced environment
