Shower rebuild complete. The renovation involved installing a new subfloor and tile underlay, applying waterproofing measures, bedding, and tiling, all of which meet compliance standards and look great.

🚿 Another Shower Rebuild Underway 🚿
This shower had suffered a complete waterproofing failure, resulting in water leaking through the floor and causing significant damage underneath.

❌ What went wrong?

When we removed the shower floor, we discovered the waterproofing membrane had been applied directly onto the Yellow Tongue structural flooring, with no cement underlay installed first. To make matters worse, the membrane was applied over two separate sheets of flooring, creating a joint beneath the waterproofing.

As a house naturally expands and contracts over time, movement occurs at these joins. Without a stable cement underlay, the movement causes the waterproof membrane to crack and fail, allowing water to pe*****te the subfloor.

This is exactly why following Australian Standards is so important. Waterproofing is only as good as the surface it's applied to.

We'll now:
✔️ Repair the damaged area
✔️ Install the correct cement underlay
✔️ Apply a compliant waterproofing system
✔️ Rebuild the shower properly so it's built to last

It might look like a mess now, but we'll be sharing the finished result soon!

Deception Bay Bathroom Renovation Complete! ✨
What a transformation!

This bathroom has had a complete rebuild from the ground up. We reconfigured the plumbing and layout to make the space far more functional, giving it a modern, open feel.

The end result is a clean, bright and timeless bathroom that feels so much bigger than before. We're really happy with how this one turned out!

✨ A stunning splashback to finish off this beautiful kitchen! ✨
We recently completed this splashback for one of our builder's projects , working alongside the talented designer, Verona of Avid Designs.
The unique basket weave layout was envisioned by Verona, and we love bringing creative ideas like this to life. It's always exciting to see the finished result when a design comes together exactly as planned.
The soft, handcrafted-look tiles add plenty of texture and character while keeping the space bright, fresh and timeless.

Bright and breezy ensuite under construction by Fiddle Leaf Constructions in downtown Everton Park 🛀 🚿 💪 🥇. Can't wait to see this one finished!! This is our contribution complete 😁. The floor tiles continue up the walls on two sides, with the opposite two featuring herringbone white 300-long subways.
