This one was a challenge we loved.

Thornlands State School hall — a huge space that needed acoustic treatment tough enough to survive basketballs, accessible enough to install at height, and effective enough to actually transform how music sounds in there.

Working alongside and , the results exceeded testing expectations.

The feedback from the music teachers said it all. After nearly 10 years of conducting bands in the hall, they told us the difference was amazing — note articulation that was previously lost in reverb is now clear, and the improvement is even noticeable just speaking in the room.

Schools, halls, auditoriums — big acoustic problems are what we’re built for.

That’s a brilliant outcome - the gig result is the hook right there. Here’s a draft:

This client in Maudsland came to us wanting a rehearsal space. We designed and built a full acoustic studio inside his existing shed — treated walls, ceiling cloud panels, the lot.

It ended up sounding so good he recorded his 5 piece band in there. That recording landed them gigs.

That’s what getting the acoustics right actually does.

Not all sound booths are created equal.

We worked alongside tonicdesign to design and build this wall of custom soundproof booths for a busy open plan office.
Every detail was built to fit — the space, the acoustics, the aesthetic.

This is the difference between buying off the shelf and building it right. These booths look like they belong because they were designed to. The sound rating was also specified for purpose, not guessed at.

Last weekend we celebrated Harry’s 21st (theme and all!). It was the best fun — but the real highlight was looking around and seeing Harry surrounded by the absolute best people who really know how to enjoy life.
Not to mention that any time the five of us get to hang together, I can never wipe the smile from my face. 🥰

Every student deserves to hear their teacher clearly.

We recently completed an acoustic panelling installation at Guardian Angels Primary School — transforming their multi-purpose shelter from a classic echo chamber into a space that finally works for the students and staff who use it every day.

Less echo, less noise fatigue, and a much better environment for assemblies, PE classes and school events.

Schools, community halls and sporting facilities are some of our favourite projects — because good acoustics genuinely changes how people learn, communicate and connect.

We're so grateful the boys have managed to avoid the distraction of 'The Great Northern Conveyor Belt' running behind them! 😅
Working hard at Carlton United Breweries to fix the acoustics and protect their workers' hearing. Turns out, beer production can be LOUD - who knew?
Massive kudos to CUB for looking after their team's health. And to our crew for staying laser-focused (despite the very tempting scenery behind them).

Friday feels hit different when the job site looks like this. 🍺
We're currently on site at a local brewery — and yes, the views are excellent.

But jokes aside, there's a serious reason we're here. Breweries are loud environments. Machinery, pumps, bottling lines — it adds up fast. Under Queensland workplace health and safety regulations, workers must not be exposed to noise above 85 dB(A) averaged over an 8-hour shift. Without proper acoustic management, that's a very real risk in a production environment like this.

Happy, healthy workers make better beer. It's science. 🔇🍻
