For those of you who had more questions than answers following our Robot Theft.
Video 1: lovely couple arriving in their stolen MG car with missing plates. Lady walks into shop.
Video 2: Man prepares the vehicle for a quick getaway by leaving rear passenger door open.
Video 3: in store footage of the lovely couple pretending not to know each other.
Video 4: Our shop manager “wild cat” chasing thieving dog to car. Tries to open rear door to retrieve robot, the door handle snaps off. Wild cat then tries front door and finds rego plates sitting in front seat area and thinks I’ll take them! Man drives away. Wildcat Returns to shop to find 2nd person who is still pretending not to be involved. 2nd thief then needs to leave to get her card. Never returns. Later spotted with man down the road making an escape.
We’ve had a lot of information provided today and appreciate everyone sharing. Unfortunately we are not the first pool shop to be targeted in a recent crime spree by the pair.

In case you missed the news today. These 2 guys forgot to pay for a robotic pool cleaner from our Westlake store yesterday. If you recognise either of these 2 please reach out to us directly.
They have been forgetting to pay quite a bit lately around our area. Even the white MG they get around in isn’t theirs and the rego plates we secured yesterday are fake. Strange?🤣
Must be going through a rough patch. Just like small businesses are at the moment.

Both Westlake and Sherwood Shops are now open 7 days. 8-12 on Sundays. Pop in for a free water test or check out our quality pool products and equipment.
