We’ve just completed a commercial fitout in Murarrie, which included a full LED upgrade with new LED panels and downlights throughout the tenancy. The lighting layout was refined to suit the new office configuration, with feature wall lights and pendant fittings added to elevate the overall look and feel of the workspace. We also delivered new power circuits to support the updated workstation layout and ensured all lighting and emergency systems met current standards.

The stand out feature of this fitout was the illuminated arch in the reception area which added a striking visual element and created a welcoming first impression for staff and guests. Warm lighting in the meeting rooms contributes to a calm and inviting atmosphere and the contemporary LED strip lighting and pendants provide accents throughout the office.

👉 Have a look at the feature lighting on this project!!!!!
A key feature of this project was the suspended track and feature lighting, the colour-changing RGB lights that were installed to the exhibition space to highlight the artwork and the handmade wall sconces.
The high ceilings created a challenge but our team was able to get it done without a hitch.

This office fit-out, for Carbon Creative in Bowen Hills, required power data and lighting works to 6 offices, 11 workstations, board and meeting rooms, multiple collaborations spaces, focous room, kitchen, amenities and end-of-trip facilities.

We installed;
💡10amp and 15amp power
💡32amp 3 phase isolators for AC outdoor units with RCD protection,
💡New free standing data rack, data cabling, patch panels, MATV and HDMI links,
💡Motion sensors, feature lighting, recessed emergency lighting and exit lighting.
💡New sub board and sub mains

This Project was completed for RAW Commercial Projects.

As we approach the completion of another fitout for Busy Bees in Nundah, lets take a look back at the previous fitout completed for them with Urban-Group Fitout ....

The timber slatted ceiling with LED lighting above the reception desk provided a moden element to the existing brick and stone and we used ambient lighting, to create a feature out of the existing brick wall in the conference room.

During this fit out we also completed;
💡Other lighting works including, feature lighting, light relocations and exit and emergency lighting throughout.
💡Power and data cabling installed to all offices, workstations, kitchen, conference rooms, reception and seating areas.
💡AV cabling in the meeting and board rooms
💡Installation of a new Sub-board.

How long since you had your emergency lighting tested???

In Queensland, commercial exit and emergency lighting must be tested every six months by a qualified electrician or a licensed contractor, with each test including a 90-minute discharge test to ensure the battery can power the lights for that duration in an emergency, as per Australian Standard AS/NZ 2293.2; All test results and any maintenance actions taken must be documented.
This is a legal requirement to maintain building safety and comply with fire regulations.
