Last week’s mammoth Mermaid Beach MSSB cutover! ⚡️
A huge 24-hour effort by multiple crews to replace an existing MSSB that was fed from both above and below.
The new stainless steel MSSB was designed and built in-house, featuring internal doors that relocate all control equipment inside the enclosure, protecting it from harsh weather and UV exposure for improved longevity and reliability.
The project isn’t finished yet. The final stages will include installing new circuits as plant equipment is upgraded and relocated, followed by a final clean-up and the installation of weather covers.
A fantastic team effort from everyone involved in delivering another quality result.
