Coucals is a hillside garden of four acres which is landscaped using local sandstone. Exotic plants from temperate, tropical and sub-tropical climes have been integrated with the native gums and smaller trees. A variety of gardens have been created at different levels to display the huge variety of plants forming garden rooms which are linked by meandering paths. Seating areas and gazebos allow vi

Wow what a start to summer. With the storms, came rain which did wreak havoc. The tanks are almost full and the garden has had a good soaking.
WEATHERING THE STORMS
The great South East has been hit pretty badly with storms since October and they look like continuing throughout the summer. The have bought fabulous rain to fill the tanks but with some destruction. Lots of colour and activity in the garden, a lot of things early, like the Cliveas. Even the birds are getting in on the act! This is how it is looking this weekend. We will be open on Saturday 13th & 20th September from 9am to 4pm. The Australian Red Cross Ipswich Branch will be serving Devonshire teas. Entry is a purchase from the nursery which starts at $6.
