We Raised Two Houses in the Air... Now it’s a Childcare Centre!

This one got a lot of attention. The approval sat with council for more than 2 years because both houses had to be retained and nothing could be demolished.

We raised both homes up to 9 metres and held them there while the builder got their ground and civil works completed. They excavated underneath, built a car park and poured a single suspended slab under the whole footprint.

We then lowered both houses 2 metres onto the new slab, and the houses got joined together and fto create a full functional childcare centre in Bardon.
