Another Milestone for AMSQ 🚀

Today marks a major achievement for our team at Applied Mechanical Services QLD — we successfully lifted two chillers, two AHUs and two MSSBs onto the rooftop of the new Avani Hotel, Mooloolaba.

This milestone reflects the hard work and coordination of our project team.

We’re proud to be contributing to this landmark hotel development and excited to see the project progress towards completion.

🚧 Milestone Lift at Midwater 🚧

This week our team at Applied Mechanical Services QLD reached a major milestone on the 40-storey Midwater Project in Main Beach with the successful lifting of the cooling towers to the rooftop.

A huge effort from everyone involved in the planning and coordination — these lifts are always a critical and high-risk part of delivery, and it’s great to see them carried out safely and smoothly.

🚨 Project Win Announcement 🚨

AMSQ has been awarded the full Design & Construct mechanical services package for one of Australia’s most ambitious AgriTech and pharmaceutical developments — a huge high-tech hydroponic glasshouse facility, with an adjoining ISO 8 & GMP-compliant pharmaceutical processing plant, delivered in collaboration with Austranna.

This landmark project features:

✅ 7 Chillers
✅ 2 Heat Pumps
✅ 23 AHUs
✅ 19 Pumps
✅ Dehumidifiers & Humidifiers
✅ VRF & DX Systems
✅ Fully integrated Building Management System (BMS)

Our in-house engineering team is leading the mechanical design, with CFD modelling by Enginova Engineering to validate performance across complex growing zones — ensuring precise environmental control and energy-efficient operation all year round.

From controlled-environment agriculture to pharmaceutical cleanrooms, this project highlights AMSQ’s ability to deliver end-to-end mechanical solutions in highly technical and regulated environments.

🏗️ Project Win: Burly Residences | 264–268 The Esplanade, Miami, QLD

AMSQ has been awarded the Design and Construct mechanical services package for this landmark project, being delivered by Gowdie Management Group Pty Ltd.

Burly Residences is one of the Gold Coast’s most prestigious and expansive new residential developments — spanning 24 levels and comprising 101 private residences (including deluxe penthouses). Apartments range from 141sqm to a massive 743sqm, with two- to four-bedroom floorplans and options for additional multipurpose rooms.

🏗️ PROJECT WIN – SANURA, BURLEIGH HEADS 🏗️

AMSQ is proud to announce we’ve been awarded the mechanical Design & Construct contract for Sanura, a landmark residential development located at 1871 Gold Coast Highway, Burleigh Heads.

This 18-storey tower, with a three-level basement, represents another significant project for our in-house engineering and delivery teams. We're excited to partner with Frankie Constructions to bring this development to life.
