My business Buzz About Gardens has just turned 20.
When I left my job and career 20 years ago, many said I was crazy to leave and start this business. But I honestly never looked back, not one day in that time.
I have to thank my wife Briony Burrows for coming up the idea to make the complete change and for encouraging me that it was okay to leave a career and backing me to make it work.
I have had so many great people work with me over these years. Most notably Kurt, Ivan, Benny V, Benny G, Tommy, Robbie, Adam David Neal Myles, Adrian, Lexie, Luke and Aden.
My proudest achievement with the business is still having one client who was there on day one and still a client today and I didn't actually meet Roger in person until 5 years after taking him on as a client. Also very lucky to have many, many clients who have now become true friends.
To celebrate I bought myself a new (old) car.
I often joke that I still don't know what I want to be yet and I guess I am not joking
