Part 2: West End Renovation, Sub-Drains & Drainage Gravel 🚧💧

Before the other plumbers jump in the comments calling us cowboys, the gravel’s in 🤠.

We’ve gone back through and completed the extra excavation for the sub-drains, then bedded and backfilled the lot with full drainage gravel. Every line surrounded properly, no shortcuts, no bare pipe sitting in shale.

It’s the part nobody sees once it’s covered back in, which is exactly why it’s worth doing right.

West End Renovation – Sewer, Stormwater & Drainage Works 🚧💧

We're on site in West End completing a full plumbing rough-in for an owner-builder renovation, with the property raised to give us the access we needed underneath.

This job's involved running new sewer lines, stormwater lines and drainage points for the kitchen, plus prepping for all the new proposed works. Excavation through a lot of shale and rock made it a solid three weeks of work — but that's how you get it right.

Getting the levels, falls and pipe runs sorted properly now means a clean, reliable result once everything's covered back in.

✔️ Kitchen drainage points completed
✔️ Excavation through shale and rock
✔️ Set up for the new proposed works ahead
