Bracken Ridge Lion's Train Day

Trains run on the 4th Sunday of each month in McPherson Park, Bracken Ridge from 9.00am until 1.00pm.

Each train ride costs $2 per person (2years old and over) or $15 for a 10 ride pass that never expires. The Bracken Ridge Central Steam/Electric Railway is proudly run and operated by the Bracken Ridge Central Lions Club, with all proceeds going back to the community. In the past, funds have been donated to the Premier's Flood Relief Fund, Lions Club Foundation, Childhood Cancer Institute, Scouts

Australia, Qld Police Sandgate Bike Squad, Sandbag Sandgate, local School Bursaries and School Chaplaincy programs. Trains run on the 4th Sunday of each month from 9am - 1pm in McPherson Park, Denham Street, Bracken Ridge at a cost of $2 a ride or 10 rides for $15

This Backyard Bonanza sponsor shoutout goes to a business that has contributed to our community! 🌭💛

We caught up with Sam from Deagon Bulk Meats who generously donated 60kg of sausages for Backyard Bonanza. It also meant The Common Good Au could raise funds for The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation on the day.

Deagon Bulk Meats donates sausages for our monthly Lions Train Day, held on the fourth Sunday of every month, helping the Bracken Ridge Lions Club raise money for various community causes.

This morning we had the pleasure of representing our Lions club to kick off the September Aspley Hypermarket Bravery Box appeal giving something special as We celebrate connection, compassion and courage, with children and teens who have cancer. If you are heading to the Hypermarket please donate new toys

We found this scooter after our event on Sunday if you know who owns it we have given it to the Bracken ridge ward office at the Library please contact them for collection.
