Job Description:
We are a rapidly expanding online paddock to plate business in the Northern Rivers of NSW and require a full time butcher to operate our recently opened wholesale butchering facility in Coraki.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced butcher that will share in our vision of providing Australian families the highest quality meats direct from the farmer. Experience in whole carcass butchering a must.
We are looking for a person that has an exceptional attitude, contribute to and be part of a great team culture and work closely with the owners to ensure the successful operation and continuous growth of our product.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
• Butchering full carcass animals, beef, pork & lamb.
• Making mince, sausages, corned meat.
• Experience in smoking and curing meats would be an advantage.
• Provide feedback to management for continuous improvement.
• Monitor product integrity.
• Ensure consistency of product cuts.
• Manage and maintain all supplies needed for production.
• Cleaning and upkeep of the facility.
• Complying with food safety regulations.
