At CV, we’re proud to support the communities where we live and work – and we’re excited to be partnering with Brothers Rugby Club Sunshine Coast.

Across the Sunshine Coast, CV continues to play a key role in delivering projects across housing, infrastructure and the water sector. From supporting growing communities through residential developments, to enabling critical infrastructure and delivering industrial solutions for the water industry, our teams are committed to creating lasting outcomes for the region.

For us, being part of the community goes beyond the projects we deliver. It’s also about backing the people, clubs and organisations that bring communities together. CV is proud to support Brothers Rugby Sunshine Coast and contribute to the culture, connection and opportunities they create for players, families and supporters.

We look forward to cheering the team on throughout the season.

BESS is easy to say, harder to build.

At CV, we focus on getting the basics right to drive big outcomes – we deliver complex BESS projects safely, on program and fully integrated.

⚡ Electrical BoP for utility scale BESS and hybrid projects
⚡ PCS and BESS mechanical and electrical installation
⚡ End to end interface management – electrical, mechanical, civil, OEM and commissioning

Our approach is simple:
✅ We think like an EPC on program, risk, logistics and interfaces
✅ We prioritise constructability and commissioning from day one
✅ We bring real, hands on BESS experience in Australian conditions
✅ We understand the full system, not just our scope, reducing delivery risk

CV delivers the outcome your client is expecting.

Get in touch to discuss your current or upcoming BESS projects.

Recently, several of our CV team members took part in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, a global charity event raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.

The Brisbane ride brought together around 500–600 participants, and it was great to see our team getting behind such an important cause.

CV was also proud to further support the event by donating the wayfinding panels and media banner, all produced in-house by our signage team.

At the recent Workplace Health & Safety Show, we were proud to see our Group Manager – Safety, Steve Harvey, take the stage and share his insights on safety leadership and culture.

Steve took part in a panel discussion focused on how leaders can build strong safety culture in high risk teams, drawing on his experience leading safety in complex environments.

He also delivered his own session, sharing how improv techniques and tactical use of humour can be powerful tools to boost safety engagement, spark meaningful conversations and empower frontline teams – an approach he applies every day with our people.

At CV, we are committed to finding the best ways to engage our teams, build trust and create environments where everyone feels empowered to speak up, support each other and go home safe at the end of every day.

Well done, Steve, for continuing to evolve how safety leadership is approached across our industry.

We’re proud to congratulate Aidan Rice on his appointment as Group Manager – Risk & Assurance at CV.

In this role, Aidan leads CV’s enterprise risk, safety, environment, quality and ESG functions, supporting the business to operate safely, sustainably and in line with our growth ambitions. His leadership helps ensure strong governance and consistent standards across our projects and operations.

With more than two decades of experience across building services and critical infrastructure, Aidan brings deep operational and commercial insight to CV. His background across complex environments including airports, healthcare and defence strengthens our ability to manage risk effectively, protect our people and deliver confidence for our clients in highly regulated and high-risk settings.

This leadership capability further reinforces CV’s commitment to safety, quality and long-term value for our clients. Congratulations on the new role, Aidan.

We’re proud to share that CV is now a member of the Clean Energy Council.

This is an important step for us as we continue to strengthen our role in Australia’s clean energy sector and contribute to a smarter, more sustainable energy future.

Becoming a member means we’re actively engaging with industry and government, staying close to emerging insights and best practice, and ensuring our work aligns with the direction Australia is heading in clean energy.

Most importantly, it reinforces our commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes for our clients while supporting the broader transition to cleaner, more resilient energy systems.

We’re excited to be part of the conversations shaping what’s next.

A major milestone delivered in Townsville – the Kirwan Replacement Police Facility is now complete.

CV delivered the electrical and communications works that enable the site to operate day to day, including high‑capacity power distribution, resilient essential services with standby power and UPS, integrated energy monitoring and control, as well as solar PV and EV charging capability. We also delivered structured and security cabling to ensure reliable, secure connectivity across the facility.

This is our second project delivered successfully in partnership with FKG Group in the Townsville region. Well done to the entire project team – we’re proud to deliver a facility that strengthens frontline capability and provides lasting benefits for the Townsville community.

Electrical safety isn’t just about compliance – it’s about capability, judgement and asking the right questions before work begins.

Our teams across HVAC, Fire and Plumbing recently came together for an electrical safety session led by senior inspectors from the Electrical Safety Office. What made this session particularly valuable was the open, practical discussion around real scenarios our people face in the field every day.

The session focused on real‑world electrical safety – licence boundaries, energised work and compliance – reinforcing that competence matters as much as licensing, and empowering our people to stop, assess risk and work safely.

Investing in education like this is how we protect our people, our clients and the communities we work in. It’s also how we build strong trades careers grounded in accountability, learning and safety leadership.

Thank you to the Electrical Safety Office for sharing your expertise and engaging our teams in collaborative conversations. We’re looking forward to continuing to work together on more sessions like this.

Reconciliation is an ongoing journey at CV – one grounded in learning, respect and meaningful action.

As part of this journey, we partnered with the late Leah Cummins, a proud Mayi-Kulan and Kalkadoon woman, to create the artwork for our Reconciliation Action Plan. We are proud to continue building on this foundation as we strengthen relationships and deepen understanding with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

In this video, Leah shares the meaning behind the artwork and how it reflects CV’s commitment to reconciliation – with our people at the heart, guided by our values and united in moving forward together.

As our reconciliation journey continues, we are currently developing our second Reconciliation Action Plan – an important milestone that builds on the commitments already underway and reinforces our long-term focus on meaningful change.

In memory of Leah Cummins, whose artwork will always be part of CV’s reconciliation story.

We respectfully advise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewers that this video contains images, names and voices of a person who has passed away. These are shared with love and with the permission of the family.

This International Women's Day, we celebrated connection, contribution and community, bringing this year’s Give to Gain theme to life.

We marked the day on Friday by sharing our appreciation for our team, and on Sunday our CV crew took on the International Women's Day Fun Run, bringing great energy – even in the rainy conditions.

A huge well done to everyone involved in making the day a success and to those who represented CV in the Fun Run in support of breast cancer research and prevention through the Mater Foundation.

We are proud of the 100 women across CV who make an impact every day in diverse roles across our sites, factory and offices. When we support one another, we all grow stronger.
