Slapped in some new drainage for this bathroom. The slab sits 300mm below the ground level outside where the ORG is.

Installed a reflux valve to protect this space from any surcharge coming back up the line.

Lucky for me this slab was no where near as thick as the last job 😅.

The rolling blockie trolley. I tried smashing that gully with a plunger to no prevail. Turns out there were roots just past the gully. M18 chain snake is great in my opinion. Used it a few times now when I didn’t feel like running the hoses out for the jet…. 😅

So, the QBCC has plumbers in QLD doing puddle flanges now. I splashed some cash on some new gear and I’m pretty happy with how it’s all going. I’ve heard a lot of guys having a sook about it… get over it, they’ve been doing it everywhere else for years.

Big Milwaukee vac, 9” grinder, couple 12ah forges and the gucci discs from the waterproofing shop.
