For those affected by the floods and uninsured, follow the links below and check your eligibility.

Uninsured or unable to claim insurance in the recent floods? You might be eligible for a grant to help reconnect essential services that were damaged.
There are 2 parts to the grant:
1. Inspection: up to $200 towards a safety inspection for each essential service needing reconnection (electricity, gas, water and sewerage or septic system)
2. Repair: up to $4200 towards repair work to enable essential services to be reconnected (for example, electrical rewiring).

Something a little bit different today. Emergency call out for a light pole that had fallen over(due to rusting of footing bolts), with exposed wiring and blocking carparks. Wiring made safe, pole removed from site, carpark’s reopened. Keep posted to see how the replacement goes!

Out with old, in with the new. Replacing old weatherproof powerpoints for a safer all in one outlet with RCD and overload protection for use in the local monthly markets.

The before and afters of a recent board upgrade at a commercial premises. The old board had no RCD’s installed, cabling was heat damaged. All nice neat and all circuits RCD protected.
