We then attended to a reported leaking vinyl lined swimming pool in Morningside.
We used our Leaktrac 2400 to test the integrity of the vinyl walls and floor. We moved the wedding cakes steps and located 5 holes in total. We dye tested confirming the leak sites before applying epoxy putty patches to the leak sites. We re dye tested to confirm they were secure.

This morning we attended to reported leaking light fitting at a pebbelcrete pool in Mount Gravatt East. We noted water dripping from electrical conduit. We entered the pool and removed both light fittings to note the cable housing bracket was broken where the cable and the rear housing meet.
Due to the depth of the light fitting housing we applied an epoxy putty bead on the outside of both light fittings before reinstating the cover. We noted a dramatic slow down in the rate of the drip allowing time for the remainder of the water in the conduit to exit.

This morning we returned to a reported leaking vinyl lined pool in Corinda. We attended a couple of weeks ago and located a hole in the vinyl liner which we patched. We inspected the pump filtration system and noted an in line shut off valve, we cut below the valve and noted water running, meaning the valve had failed. Our plumber cut away the valve and replaced it however due to the plumbing configurations we capped off the waste line. We advised our client he needed to get the multi port valve on the sand filter replaced, a service provided by most pool shops.

We then travelled to reported leaking fibreglass pool in Aspley , our client advised is pool was affected by the floods in 2022. We conducted a series of tests before determining the leak to be a cracked return jet housing. We confirmed the leak source by hydrophone microphone and in pool dye testing. we applied epoxy putty bead to the internal crack before pressure testing the return line to ensure its integrity.
We replaced the original hydrostatic valve and puttied over a crack in the skimmer box

We then attended to a reported concealed water leak detection in Camp Hill, a water meter test revealed a leak of 720 litres per day, we then isolated all the services inside the property before inspecting the solar hot water unit on the rook. The pressure relief valve on the hot water service was leaking. We videoed the leak, showed our client then arranged for a maintenance plumber to attend and complete the repair.

We pressure tested the suction and return pipework which held pressure.
Great peace of mind to ensure the integrity of the pipework prior to commencing pool renovations.

This morning we attended to a reported concealed water leak in Mt Gravatt East. One of our plumber colleagues was had run a temporary line and required some assistance in locating the source of the leak. We introduced compressed air into the line and immediately head the sound of air coming from the edge of concrete near where a previous repair was completed by another contractor in 2018. Our plumber colleague would complete the repair.

We then attended to a reported leaking vinyl lined pool in Bannockburn, we obtained background from our client. We tested the multi port valve then pressure tested the pipework which both held pressure. The pool liner was only replaced around 15 months ago. We entered the pool and inspected the skimmer box and inside the return jets. We then located a large number of small holes all around 100mm up from the floor on the vinyl wall.

We patched a large number of this holes around the main step into the pool before introducing our Leaktrac 2400 which located further holes around the pool all at the same height.

Our client advised that there robotic pool cleaner seems to get stuck at that height all the way around the pool. It is therefore most likely the robotic pool cleaner has caused the damage to the pool liner.
We coversed with the Vinyl pool liner provider before discussing options with our client.

This morning we returned to a reported blocked suction swimming pool line in Haigslea. We attended earlier in the month and was unable to clear the blockage , as a cost effective strategy we referred our client to a local plumber with a jetter in a further attempt to clear the blockage, again without success.

We inserted our CCTV camera from both ends and located a flexible rubber pool hose connected wedged in the 50mm - 90 degree bend under the skimmer box.
Using a quick cut concrete saw we removed a section of the concrete path, excavated down to locate the suction pipe. Having located the position out licensed plumber cut a section of pipe away and removed the blockage.
He reconfigured the suction pipe , before testing the repair then the whole line to find it secure. We backfilled with sand before reinstating the concrete and cleaning the site.

This morning we attended to a reported leaking vinyl lined pool in Holmview. We inspected the skimmer box then used our Leaktrac 2400 to test the integrity of the vinyl walls and floors before identifying 6 holes on the wall. We then entered the pool and moved the wedding cake steps then tested the floor which identified a large tear on the floor. We applied epoxy putty to all 7 leak sites before removing the steps all together.

We then attended to a reported leaking pebblecrete pool in Wellington Point. We noted the water level was sitting at the bottom of the skimmer box. We pressure tested both the suction and return lines before using a hydrophone microphone which indicated a leak in the main drain.
We entere the pool to note the hydrostatic valve was broken and leaking into the main drain.
We removed the valve including the broken thread before replacing the valve, re dye testing to find it secure.
