Fuel levies… or profit boosters? ⛽️

We're still seeing 10–15% fuel levies getting slapped on jobs everywhere right now… and honestly, it doesn’t add up.

Let’s break it down 👇
Our numbers:
• 6T excavator ≈ 7L/hr
• Truck ≈ 15L/hr
• Fuel increase this week ≈ +$0.40/L on a $1.90/L base rate

We charge based on actual fuel burn × real increase. Simple. Transparent.

So how does a 10–15% levy on the total job make sense?
On bigger jobs, that can be thousands… when the real fuel increase is a fraction of that.

Are we missing something… or are some people just cashing in? 👀

Genuinely want to know, How are you justifying it?
