Another one wrapped up last week. 💪

This property had ongoing surface and subsurface water issues, so we installed a complete new drainage system to get everything flowing where it should.

🔹 20m of dual 100mm AGI drains
🔹 20m of new 100mm PVC installed
🔹 3 new 300mm stormwater pits
🔹 Added 2 new 90mm downpipes into the system
🔹 Excavated 1.6m deep to repair a dislodged 90mm PVC stormwater line
🔹 Finished it off by spreading 2m³ of 20mm drainage gravel for the owner until the landscaping is completed.

One of those jobs where every bucket of dirt uncovered something different, but that’s all part of drainage. End result is a system that’s built properly and ready to handle whatever the weather throws at it.

Some drainage jobs need more than just a standard solution.

This customer was dealing with both surface water and groundwater making its way in from the neighbouring properties, so we designed a system to intercept it before it became a bigger problem.

✅ Installed 15m of double AGI drains
✅ Installed a 450mm collection pit
✅ Fitted an RVS200VF sump pump
✅ Pumped discharge into the shallow stormwater main line

Big shoutout to the owner on this one. He tackled all the excavation himself and will be doing the backfilling himself. Absolute legend and it made for a great team effort. 👏

This property is in a much better position to handle whatever comes next. 💧

Another drainage job wrapped up. 💪

This one consisted of:
• 17m double AGI drain installation
• 17m new stormwater line
• 5 x UniPits
• 10m channel grate wrapping around the patio to capture surface water before it had a chance to cause problems.

Not every job finishes looking picture-perfect straight away… this one was a messy one thanks to the orange clay and sloppy mud. 😅 Anyone who’s worked with this stuff knows it gets absolutely everywhere.

To leave the property looking the way we’d want our own to, we brought in 2 cubic metres of fresh topsoil and spread grass seed across the disturbed areas. Now it’s just a waiting game for Mother Nature to do her thing and bring the lawn back to life. 🌱

We always aim to leave every job not only functioning properly, but looking as tidy as possible once we’re done.

Another stormwater issue sorted the right way. 👌

This one was a 17m stormwater renewal out to the kerb. Before any excavation started, we had ProVac locate and mark all underground services to ensure the job was completed safely and accurately.

After exposing the existing line, we found the old stormwater was discharging straight into an agi drain in the garden… going absolutely nowhere. 🤦‍♂️

We installed a new 100mm stormwater line complete with a new kerb adapter, then finished the job off with a high pressure clean and CCTV inspection of the drain to confirm everything was flowing exactly as it should.

Done once, done right. 💧

Out with the old, in with the new. 👊

This one was a full 42m suspended 100mm sewer renewal, giving the property a reliable new sewer system built to last.

✅ 42m of new suspended 100mm sewer installed
✅ New dedicated kitchen line installed
✅ New Overflow Relief Gully (ORG) installed
✅ 6m excavated from the house to the lead-off junction and connected into the new system
✅ Stormwater section repaired

✔️ Installed a new kerb adapter
✔️ Reconnected every downpipe on the left-hand side of the house
✔️ Connected the new shed into the stormwater system
✔️ Supplied and installed new Colorbond downpipes to finish it off

🚨 BLOCKED SEWER EMERGENCY 🚨

This terracotta sewer line was completely blocked by heavy root intrusion, with tree roots finding their way through damaged pipe joints and taking over the drain.

Using our robotic cutting equipment, we removed the root masses and restored access through the line. Once cleared, we installed a 1.5m patch reline to seal the damaged section and prevent roots from re-entering the sewer.

✅ Roots removed
✅ 1.5m patch reline installed
✅ No excavation required
✅ Sewer flowing freely again

A great result for the customer, saving the need for major excavation while restoring full functionality to the sewer system.

We’ve cleared collapsed sewers, excavated 3m deep trenches, and removed concrete from drains…

But apparently removing 2 screws was the real challenge. 😅🪛

Frustrating one this one 😤😤

Builder called us out to an almost handed-over house after concrete had made its way down the 100mm shower waste, causing a major blockage.

Before jumping straight into excavation, we did everything possible to save the client time and money. Over 3 return visits, we used Croc-Crete and high-pressure jet blasting in an attempt to break down and remove the concrete without digging.

We successfully cleared all of the concrete from the line until reaching the section around the trap, where the remaining obstruction couldn’t be removed by non-invasive methods.

Last resort was excavation. We dug up the affected section, repaired the pipework, and got everything flowing as it should. 💪

Sometimes there’s no shortcut to doing it properly.

Another blocked stormwater sorted 👊

Concrete was demo’d and jack hammered to gain access to the issue. Once opened up, we found an old stormflex pipe drilled straight into the top of another line - not a proper connection, which let roots grow through and cause ongoing blockages.

Cut out the defective section and replaced it properly with new 100mm PVC pipework, then backfilled and re-concreted the area.

Done once, done right.
