We are on the lookout for more Carpenters/ Skilled Labourers to join our team, here in Broome.
H&M Tracey are looking for people who are motivated and interested in long term work.

The Role:
-General labouring & Carpentry duties on construction sites
-Assisting tradespeople on site
-Deliveries and collection of materials
-Yard and workshop duties
-General maintenance and housekeeping
- Assisting in skilled work on site

Essential Requirements:
✅ White Card
✅ Physically fit and reliable
✅ Strong work ethic and positive attitude
✅ Current Broome resident

These are Casual Positions which will lead into Full Time for the right people. With an established local construction company offering a variety of work across residential, commercial and modular construction.

Changing your mind during construction can look simple from the client side. Swap one selection, approve the new price and keep going.

Behind the scenes, that decision may affect anywhere from one to ten trades, require new pricing, need approval and force parts of the schedule to move while everyone waits.

That flow-on effect matters when each lost week represents potential rental income.

At around $1,500 a week, a four to seven week delay equates to roughly $6,000 to $10,500.

Working through decisions before site start helps reduce the number of moving parts that can interrupt progress later.

Selections become harder when they are made months apart and from memory.

A tile chosen early may look completely different beside a benchtop selected three or four months later than you remembered it.

Putting the finishes and colours together before the build begins gives every decision context and helps reduce the need to revisit choices once trades are already working on site.

It also means fewer unanswered questions interrupting the construction program later.

For an investor, getting those decisions settled early can make the path from contract to completed, income-producing property much clearer.

The bank is moving, settlement is happening and every extra week can feel like time lost. Yet the date that ultimately shapes the return is the one at the other end of the build.

How quickly can the project get from site start to completion?

Spending a little more time resolving decisions before construction can help the build move with fewer interruptions once work begins.

For an investment property earning around $1,500 a week, the difference between finishing in six months and drifting into seven or eight has a very real dollar value.
